Nakia Keith

Nakia Keith is a Receivables Management and Margin Assurance Analyst for Cox Business. She has held various positions during her 20 years of employment with Cox Communications. During that time she has served on the Cox Communications Diversity Council as a member of the Supplier Diversity Committee and has volunteered with their Employee Volunteer Committee. She also serves on the Cox Charities Advisory Council.

Nakia is also a member of several other professional associations such as Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) and the Association for Educational Communications & Technology (AECT). In addition, she has over 13 years of non-profit board governance experience. She is pursuing a PhD in Education from Capella University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University, a Masters of Technology in Education from Strayer University and a B.S. in Business Education from Norfolk State University.

Nakia enjoys volunteering at Mount Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church also known as “The Mount”. She also loves serving as a board member of a non-profit which is also a certifying organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. In addition, she is the immediate past president of The United Way of South Hampton Roads Project Inclusion Alumni Association.  As a licensed Cosmetology Instructor she is also passionate about and advocates for the professional beauty industry.
