Jason Graves

Jason S. Graves a native of Chesapeake, VA. Is a business owner and proud funeral director following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. A graduate of Indian River High School in Chesapeake, VA; where he was a member of the honor society. He is also a 2008 graduate of Virginia State University in Petersburg, VA with a degree in Business Management. Jason also obtained his Associates Degree in funeral services from Tidewater Community College; where he graduated CUM LADE. After which he completed all the requirements to become licensed; successfully passing the national and state board exams and as of August 2012, he officially became a Licensed Funeral Service Provider! He is part owner of 2 family owned business; Family Legacy Properties and Graves Funeral Home Inc. The latter of which he also serves as Vice President. Jason is a Christian and firm believer in Christ. He is a partner at Mt Lebanon Baptist Church “The Mount” in Chesapeake, VA. He contributes much of his and his family’s success to the belief in Christ, a hard work ethic and a strong will to win! He has a passion for business, serving people and giving back to the community in which he resides and does business in. A notary public in the state of Virginia, he often notarizes documents for free. He is proud to be serving the Tidewater community and upholding the legacy his grandfather started when he founded Graves Funeral Home in 1953.
