Gillian S. Myers
A consultant, facilitator and trainer, Gillian Myers, owner of GSM Performance Consulting, conducts training courses and workshops for corporations, government agencies and small businesses and has led numerous complex development programs throughout her career. In her capacity within organizations, she directly impacted the development of individual contributors and leaders at all levels of the organization through one-on-one coaching and a series of leadership development programs. Gillian understands all too well that one of the many reasons employees leave organizations is a direct result of leadership or the lack thereof. With this in mind, her focus has been to help leaders navigate the nuances and challenges of leadership to bring about a positive impact on staff engagement and performance.
Gillian has held leadership roles in the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), The Center for Workforce Development, the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS), and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education. She has led high performing teams, reformed learning and development departments and developed leadership programs for frontline and mid-level leaders. She is certified in MBTI and is a DDI Master Trainer.
Gillian has developed and implemented a number of learning and development initiatives and programs to enhance the skill level of agency staff at all levels for the achievement of organizational goals. As a training professional, she is constantly seeking new and innovative ways to foster a dynamic learning environment and promote the development of staff competencies.
Gillian has over 20 years of experience consulting and delivering training to Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and non-profits throughout the US. She earned her Master’s degree from Marymount University in Human Resource Development and her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University.
